Blackout and dim-out fabric

Double-sided blackout

€28.50/m

A practical idea in window dressing: a fabric with two different, equally good-looking faces (usually a darker and a lighter one, for example grey and sand). The main advantage is that the outside of the building shows one colour in every window, while indoors you choose the colour to match each room. The fabric needs no extra lining and holds back 100% of the light.

  • Light held back: 100%
  • Width: 320 cm
  • Feature: double-sided design (two colours)
  • Care: wash at 30 °C, or dry clean

Suits:

  • Room dividers
  • Shop-front windows
  • A uniform look from outside

Colour palette

Double-sided blackout puts two different, equally good colours into one fabric, combined to suit the project.

42 colours. Colours are numbered as in the photo, from left to right.

The colours are taken from a photo of the fabric sample, so the shade can look slightly different on your screen. You will see the exact shade on a real sample.

Interior style and use

Double-sided blackout suits blocks of flats and commercial spaces, where the building's facade should look uniform from outside while the colour indoors matches each room. It is a choice for new-build homes.

Light control and privacy

It holds back 100% of the light: the two-layer structure stops even the brightest sun, and the extra layer dampens sound a little.

Care and durability

Wash in a machine at 30 °C on a gentle cycle with a low spin, or use a dry-cleaning service. The two-layer structure is sturdier than single-layer fabrics, which is one of its main advantages.

Why choose this fabric?

Two fabrics in one: a single colour from outside, and a different one for each room, if you have several colour schemes.
