Blackout and dim-out fabric

Gravity Blackout

€35.00/m

A dense, heavy fabric (over 350 g/m²) which blocks all the light and also noticeably improves the sound in a room. Its weight dampens some of the high-pitched sound coming from the street or from neighbouring rooms, which you notice as soon as the curtains are drawn. It suits city-centre flats near busy streets and home cinemas.

  • Light held back: 100%
  • Width: 290 cm
  • Feature: sound-dampening, heavy
  • Care: dry cleaning recommended because of the weight

Suits:

  • Bedroom by a busy street
  • Home cinema
  • Recording studios and offices

Colour palette

Gravity has a muted palette: like the fabric, the colours look solid and still.

16 colours. Colours are numbered as in the photo, from left to right.

The colours are taken from a photo of the fabric sample, so the shade can look slightly different on your screen. You will see the exact shade on a real sample.

Interior style and use

Gravity is for rooms where quiet is the priority: bedrooms on busy streets, home cinemas and recording studios. Its weight (over 350 g/m²) blocks the light and also dampens higher-pitched sound.

Light control and privacy

It holds back 100% of the light and adds some sound dampening. The density of the weave leaves no light passing through the fabric itself.

Care and durability

Because of the weight, have it dry cleaned; washing at home can be awkward. The fabric is unusually sturdy and long-lasting.

Why choose this fabric?

For a room where light and noise both disturb sleep.
